Confessions of a Deal Diva
I've kept this secret for too long. But, it's a new year, and I'm trying to be a better person and such.
So, I guess I'll spill.
I sometimes buy clothes, beauty products and shoes at Sam's Club.
:::Pause for collective gasp:::
Yes, that's right. Sam's Club.
The membership-only mega discount warehouse, home to 20-gallon cheese puff containers and dog food by the ton. The place where clothes are displayed on giant tables next to sample stands with ladies in hair nets doling out smokey sausage cheese dip
Before you judge, listen up. I have found some gems! Plus, who doesn't like to eat dip while they shop?
I love the Kenneth Cole Reaction ivory faux leather jacket I picked up a few months ago for about $30. Same goes for the discounted bright green trench coat I scored a few years ago.
Sure, there's a lot to not like. But, sifting through the piles during my monthly visit for boring things like dog food and toilet paper is part of the fun of bargain hunting.
There are name brands galore and stock tends to change pretty regularly, so there's always something new to discover.
I also spotted my sister's favorite hairspray, Big Sexy Hair (retail price $19) for less than $11.
So, fellow Deal Divas, give the warehouse store a try this new year. Don't have a membership? Maybe a relative does and you can ask to tag along. Or try Costco or BJs, which are similar warehouse stores.
