Deal Divas

Stephanie Hayes, Katie Sanders, Kameel Stanley, & Keyonna Summers

The $3,000 purse nobody likes except me and Beyonce.

Bgv05a6_mnThe fashion blog world is a fickle bunch. It's often hard to see eye-to-eye through the lenses of our Jackie-O shades. But recently many have united over their distaste for the current not so It-bag.

Enter Dolce and Gabbana's Miss Easy Way Ayers Snakeskin Patchwork Satchel. Some have gone as far as to say this bag should be buried deep in the closet of all who own it. Most are grossed out by the sheer snakeskinnish-ness (is that a word) of it. And others just hate the thing.

Then there's the price -- $2,995 -- which is a beast all its own.

I'm not of that set. I like the patchiness. It makes me think of one of my favoriBeyoncepatchte eras in fashion -- the 70s. And Beyonce agrees. And not often do Bey and I agree on fashion. Trust me. We've had it out a few times over some of her options.

The Miss Easy Snakeskin is hippy, yet chic. The shape is grown-up -- part doctor's bag, part satchel. It has the sort of cache that works with jeans and a white-T as well as a tailored black suit and hate-me pumps.

Being the Deal Diva I am, I've hunted down a viable alternative: It's only about $40 bucks at , has the same removable strap and to be honest, I actually like the colors in this one better.

What do you guys think?
