Banana Republic will launch a third 'Mad Men' line next spring

November

Good news for all of you who felt a little underwhelmed by the high-drama Anna Karenina line at Banana Republic.

A third Mad Men line is in our future, and this time the designs are inspired by the mod Megan Draper.

Squeee! I'm super excited. The store's Mad Men collections have been good to me (see: very Joan pencil skirt and leopard blouse from the previous lines).

"Megan represents the young and modern. She really represents a changing of the times," show costume designer Janie Bryant told Women's Wear Daily recently. She collaborated with Banana on the line.

Surely that means we can expect bold, youthful prints like this, right? Pretty please?

I haven't found any design leaks, except for this sketch.

The bad news is we have a bit of a wait. March 1 is the planned debut.

Prices will be $50-$140 for women's apparel and $30-$128 for jewelry and other accessories.

Divas, I can't say this enough: Wait for a sale. BR is constantly alerting customers of 30 percent and 40 percent sales.

Then, well, go mad. Or mod.
