BCBG on the cheap!
Our friend Leonora LaPeter-Anton found a killer sale last weekend at BCBG. It's going on through Sunday, and there's a store in Westshore Plaza if you want to indulge. I'll let her take it from here. ~ Deal Diva Stephanie
Occasionally, I've wandered into BCBG Max Azria and gazed at the clothes longingly. You can just feel the quality when you reach out and touch. But they're typically outside my price range, although I have occasionally bought a shirt or two that made its way to the jam-packed racks at TJ Maxx.
So when I wandered past the BCBG store at the Westshore Plaza in Tampa the other day and saw 30-70 percent off half the store, it lured me in like a bug to lights. Then I found they were offering another 20 percent on top of that on sale items.
I was on a quest for a bikini bathing suit at the time, and I found two really colorful suits that fit perfectly. Originally, they cost about $160. I paid $33 for each of them. I can't tell you how good it felt to get such a good deal. It felt like treasure.
The bathing suits were dwindling fast when I was in there last. But the sale also applied to late spring and summer tops, pants, dresses, shoes and accessories.

Kameel Stanley has never encountered a thrift store she didn’t like. Her mother taught her that the true value of clothes isn’t how much they cost, but how many outfits one can create from them. There’s a lot of turnover in her closet, and she’s obsessed with dresses, necklaces and wedge heels. She can be reached at (727) 893-8643 or
