Bold earrings. Bring it.
InStyle magazine is lovin' big, dramatic earrings to kick up an outfit right now. We agree.
Sure, the red-carpet chandelier look might not work for the office. But there are slightly more subtle styles that will still add flair to the ole' blouse-and-skirt standby. If you are feeling bold, pull your hair back and let the earrings take center stage. If you prefer to be a little more understated, wear your hair down and let them play peek-a-boo.
One caution: Make sure the earrings aren't too heavy! There's nothing more annoying or distracting than feeling weighed down by your jewels. Leave that burden to the celebs.
Right now, The Limited is offering its buy two, get one free deal on jewelry. The Limited is one of my go-to spots for accessories. They are reasonably priced, sturdy and on point with trends. This silver pair has proven to be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. I really like this gold pair, too.
Or, for some color, InStyle features these lovely earrings from Vis-A-Vis. A little taste of Nantucket, without the airfare expense.

There’s a lot of turnover in her closet, and she’s obsessed with dresses, necklaces and wedge heels. She can be reached at (727) 893-8643 or
