Daily wear earrings: How low to go?
Help! My favorite pair of earrings, a gift from my loved one, just broke for the second time in six months. I took them back to exchange for a new pair, but now I can't decide what I want.
When it comes to jewelry, I prefer simple but quality pieces for everyday wear over a bunch of cheap stuff. (I'll confess to a weakness for the little blue box.) My current obsession is dangling pearl earrings. But how low should I go?
Option A: Hanging pearl, suspended from a chain. Puts on a show with every swing of the head. Beautiful and flirty, especially against dark hair. But is it too long for ponytail days?
Option B: Droplet pearl, less conservative than the staid stud. Completely safe, but is it too boring?
The BFF tells me to go for Option A -- and take them dancing. What would you do?
