Dickies in the mainstream? Say it ain't so!
It has come to my attention that last night on Glee, the typically very stylish character Kurt wore not one but TWO dickies. You remember dickies -- the ol' turtleneck fake-out, the soft strangler in semi-form, the itchy impostor. I'm still in disbelief this garment actually exists.
But yep, there it was on prime time for all us showchoir wannabees to see (AKA gawk at in disbelief). I must confess, I missed last night's episode, but the evidence is right there on Fox's homepage. According to an episode re-cap, Kurt donned the offending half-sweater as he sang Pink's "Perfect" with boyfriend Blaine.
Perfect. Right.
Okay, fine, so Kurt's version does have one sleeve. And WHATEVER, so he does look pretty cozy. And happy. And he sings better than me. And oh darn it, Kurt, now I want a dickie, too.
