Fall fashion must-haves according to Neiman Marcus, Part I
So Deal Diva Colleen and myself had the pleasure of experiencing an event called "Girls Night Out" at Neiman Marcus last week. A select group of customers are treated to a night of blissful retail therapy. The latest in Fall Fashion was the prescription.
Now, us Deal Divas aren't of the belief that one needs to shop at Neiman Marcus to look good, but when they talk Fashion -- we listen. So without further adieu here are the must-haves for Fall according to Neiman Marcus.
The Color Red -Yes, it's as simple as that. Lipstick, candy-apple, tomato...take your pick. Just make sure your fall wardrobe consist of something scarlet, my dear. While Neimans might suggest a good Louboutin, I'm sort of digging these Chuck Taylors. They make a statement without a statement price tag. Converse, $45.
Motorcycle jackets- Neimans says these are de rigueur for Fall outwear. We couldn't agree more, except we live in a place where leather jackets don't get much tick. Peep this light weight number by Urban Outfitters, $58.
Leopard- Animal prints? Not so much. I usually leave that to Deal Diva Stephanie. But I'm not a complete sour puss when it comes to the skinz. I'm actually really feeling this little number by Torrid, $12.99.
Accessories with Hardware - It seems like designers everywhere have gone grommet ga-ga or psycho for spikes. Look no further than Prada's Fall bag line. In my opinion, the whole hardware embellishment thing is a tad too trendy to go investment piece with it. But it's too cute not to rock. I dig this Nine West bag, $39.99
Leggings - I must say the Neiman folks have it dead on with this one. Leggings are perhaps the most easily worn piece of clothing out right now. You've got to have a tad of "funkiness" in you to pull them off though. Luckily I do! Either way, these NY&Company leggings are awesome looking and priced at $16.95.
Catch Part II of the Neiman Marcus Fall Fashion lineup tomorrow....
