Fall fashion must-haves according to Neiman Marcus, Part II

Deal Diva Nicole brought you five trends Tuesday that Nieman Marcus says are musts for your fall wardrobe.

But before you whip out that credit card, here are five other trends for your consideration.

Accentuated Shoulders: This is the trend I'm least excited about. My bias aside, Nieman Marcus points out that emphasizing your upper body will make your waist appear smaller. True, true. Of course, doing so with square shoulders could leave you looking like a spacewalker. Pictured below is an Alexander McQueen dogtooth strong shoulder jacket, which is actually quite classy. H&M offers a more affordable take on the look with these bold numbers.

Major Black Dresses: So apparently the classic LBD has gone from "sedate to more ornate," according to Neiman Marcus. Hmm. The black dresses I'm seeing in stores don't seem particularly different from years' past, but it never hurts to pick up another one of these staples. Don't know if this frock from White House Black Market counts as ornate, but I really like it.

Metallic Shoes: You've got your basic black dress. Wouldn't it look killer with some glam footwear? Give your outfit an extra pop with a metallic shoe, such as this Jessica Simpson "Bandoline" Pump from Nordstrom. Me thinks this heel would rate a "meow" from WNTW's Stacy London, no?

Cozy Knits: Clearly, there isn't much need for "bundling up" in Florida, so we have to get a little creative in the sweater department. Some options: Thin fabrics, short sleeves, cardigans, shrugs. If the selection from Banana Republic is any indication of what stores are offering this fall, Sunshine Staters are in luck. Case in point: This hooded long cardigan.

High-Impact Jewelry: I would never, ever, ever spend $128 for this antique gold manor necklace from J.Crew. But it serves as inspiration for bold accessories, a biggie on the list of fall must-haves. I suggest starting your quest at vintage and thrift shops, where I bought a similarly chunky beaded necklace a couple years ago for about $25.

Okay, now that you've seen all 10 trends, which are your faves? Which ones will you forgo?
