The benevolent heart of the fashion industry shines again. Kenneth Cole has launched a T-shirt campaign to raise money for the Gulf Coast and BP oil spill cleanup efforts.

You can design your own T-shirt via Kenneth Cole's Facebook fan page. There are 14 colors to chose from and a list of slogans like "I Clean Up Well." Shirts retail for about $35 and 100 percent of the proceeds go to Kenneth Cole's AWEARNESS foundation, which is assisting in the Gulf Coast efforts.

It seems lately that whenever a natural disaster strikes, a T-shirt campaign is soon to follow. I'm not complaining. I love a cute T-shirt ... I just wonder if people are really buying them?
