Fashion Industry Association debuts Sunday in Clearwater
Aspiring fashion folks in the area, listen up.
The Fashion Industry Association, a new professional association that hopes to amp up the fashion scene in Tampa Bay, is debuting Sunday with a networking event and fashion show at Ceviche in Clearwater, 2930 Gulf to Bay Blvd.
FIA hopes those interested in fashion -- designers, PR people, bloggers, stylists -- will meet and help each other grow businesses via seminars, trend reports and career counseling.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the fashion show, hosted by former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Ian Beckles, starts at 8 p.m. featuring feature local designers Dolly Donshey, Sandra Hagan, Elizabeth Carson Racker and Zhanna Kens.
