Fashion's Night Out bigger and better in 2010
Fashion's Night Out, the baby of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, lives to see another year on Sept. 10. And it's expanding to include a massive fashion show.
"We are very excited to add the fashion show this year so that people will have the opportunity to see the wonderful clothes that will be available to them on Fashion’s Night Out,” said Wintour in a press release Wednesday. “We've focused the show on the trends we thought were most important, so that no matter what their style or budget shoppers will have a source of inspiration.”
The goal of the event is to get people back into stores and shopping (like we need help). Some of your fave Deal Divas took in Fashion's Night Out Tampa at Neiman Marcus last year. Remember?
We had a great time. There were free cupcakes! Still waiting for word on this year's local happenings, but rest assured we'll let you know. And nothing against Neiman's, which hosted a fabulous event, but I think alot of us might be more inclined to help out old Sister Economy if festivities were also at, say, Target. Just a thought.
