A few Black Friday events, but we've only just begun.

November

We’re T-minus five days from Black Friday, and all the migraine-inducing crowds that come with it. Look out for more sales and events to be announced in the next few days, but for now, here are some events on Nov. 26 to keep an eye on.

Ellenton Premium Outlets (5461 Factory Shops Blvd., Ellenton) will once again open for “Midnight Madness” on Thanksgiving night, with stores opening at 12:01 a.m. Some stores will offer additional savings. The stores will stay open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 27 and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 28.

Kohl’s will be open from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m., with 400 savings offers throughout the store.

Lakeland Square Mall (3800 U.S. Highway 98 N) will open at 6 a.m. Early shoppers get a $10 mall gift card with the purchase of $100 or more, while supplies last. Mall employees will be on hand with shopping bags, first-aid kits for feet, portable lint rollers and stickers for kids.

Macy’s will open at 4 a.m. with sales on 200 items including jewelry, clothing and home goods. And online, get free shipping on orders $99 and higher, excluding furniture, mattresses and rugs.

St. Petersburg Clay Company (420 22nd St. S) will have a Black Friday Brunch and Ceramics Sale at 10 a.m., featuring locally made ceramic artwork including mugs, plates, bowls and ornaments, plus hundreds of pieces of decorative pottery and sculpture. Enjoy pottery wheel and hand building demonstrations, food and drink.

International Plaza in Tampa will offer additional Black Friday discounts and gifts at stops including Tory Burch, bebe, Harry & David and Guess.

Also, got kids? Put them in the zoo while you shop! Oh, the jokes we could make here. Sorry, kiddos. While you go out stalking sales, your kids could be stalking lions and hippos at the Busch Gardens Black Friday camp. There are sessions from 6 a.m. to noon with breakfast and snack provided or noon to 6 p.m. with lunch and snack provided for $30 per session or $55 for both sessions. To register your child (ages 5-11), call (813) 987-5087.
