First lady of fashion Michelle Obama was pretty in pink last night
Watching President Barack Obama's address to Congress last night, I observed how easy it is to spot the females at these affairs. The sea of black suits was once again dotted by women in eye-catching frocks, from Hillary Clinton's red ensemble to various congresswomen's eye-catching get-ups.
But when the camera cut to first lady Michelle Obama, I was transfixed. Behold:
Lady O looked radiant in her coral skirt suit. The jacket had cropped sleeves and pleats that gathered into a bow at the neck, accented by an elegant broach. The look was classy yet fashion-forward, and undoubtedly less controversial than some of her previous style choices. The designer is still unknown, according to the blog Mrs. O.
