Get cozy with Cozyins, festive legwarmers from Tampa designers
Today is our annual holiday office potluck feast around the Tampa Bay Times. Feeling festive, I pulled on my boots and tights and jacket this morning and set off for all the holiday cheer I could handle. Then I stepped outside and realized it felt like the middle of summer. Thanks, Florida.
But whatever. Being cozy is all a state of mind, and I plan to still execute it. That reminded me of an e-mail I got from the local women behind Cozyins, a line of fuzzy, fleece loungewear. Gia Yee-Lozicki and Debbie Klatt are the Tampa creator and CEO of the line of lounge and boot socks, leg warmers, over-the-knee socks, scarves and shorts in an array of colors and designs, $5-$35. They look so luxurious and cute. See? Just look how relaxed that lady looks sitting on her couch and flipping through her Lifetime movie selections.
Even in Florida, I could get down with this. I am that person who keeps the air conditioning cranked down as low as it'll go and climbs in under layers of blankets until I'm warm again. Cozy is as cozy does, after all. In fact, maybe we Divas should all wear a pair of these Cozyins to our holiday lunch!
