Hello from your newest Deal Diva!

Hello frugal fashionistas!

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Kim Wilmath, newly welcomed into the Deal Diva family. Like all of you, I love to shop. But my mom taught me at an early age the importance of getting a bang for your buck. That means clipping coupons for weekly grocery trips (This week I saved $24 at Publix! No joke!), heading to the back of the store for sale racks and (my personal favorite) scouring thrift stores. There’s a soft spot in my heart for well-made, classic pieces. The Tampa Bay area has some amazing untapped second-hand treasure troves that I can’t wait to share with you!

I have inherited an enviable arsenal of vintage skirts, tops, jackets, shoes and jewelry (including that monocle I'm holding in my picture) from my maternal grandmother. Luckily, we’re the same size.  And for all those items that need refreshing (goodbye shoulder pads, hello new hems), I have my paternal grandma’s masterful seamstress skills. I’m one lucky gal … but I’m confident everybody has a few back-of-the-closet items that could be updated. All it takes is some creativity! Hopefully some of my favorite finds will inspire you!

Feel free to send over any suggestions or questions. I can’t wait to share some deals!
