Holiday shopping at the Think Pink Boutique and Expo
I went to the mall last night, parked and saw that someone had emptied the entire contents of his or her Cheesecake Factory-filled stomach on the parking garage floor. This set in motion yet another delightful, fun-filled round of holiday gift shopping/weapons wielding. Merry Christmas! Here's a gun!
Wouldn't it be nice if you could get everything at once without the shoving and the lines and the growls, without risking life, limb and the wrath of a billion binge eaters and drinkers after a 12-hour shopping spree? How about if someone would rub your shoulders and fist over a crisp glass of vino in the process?
Hallelujah. We were jazzed to hear about the Think Pink Women's Boutique and Expo put on by Working Women of Tampa Bay, a night of mini spa treatments, makeovers, free samples, food and wine tastings and gifts from dozens of local vendors. It's at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Shriner Activity Center, 4050 Dana Shores Drive in Tampa. It's free for WWT members, and $5 for everyone else. The first 150 women to arrive will receive a free glass of wine, appetizers and a tote bag filled with free stuff.
Here's a sampling of some of the items you can pick up Wednesday, so get your list out and start stomping on it with your heaviest boot. We know you want to.
