I got holiday bangs, and you can too!

Every six or seven months, I hate my hair. Which is why it's crucial for me to have a hairdresser I trust and love, and I'm so thankful to have found one so close to home and work. This past Friday, I got the sudden urge to cut bangs, so I called up Wicked Salon and begged to see my beloved Josh DeBlock right now, before I changed my mind. bangs.jpg

Josh was fully booked, the receptionist told me, but he miraculously found enough time to squeeze me in for some bangs AND a semi-permanent color wash to brighten my dark locks. I am so thrilled with the results (shown here at my lovely cubicle this morning).

So there's your full disclosure that I love this guy and love his salon, and now for the PSA: Wicked Salon is offering $10 haircuts for guys, $20 cuts for ladies at their first World AIDS Day Cut-A-Thon, which will actually be spread out over two evenings in St. Pete. The first will be at the Flamingo Resort at 4601 34th St. S on Nov. 28 from 2-7 p.m., the second at Hiro's Japanese Steakhouse at 5250 4th St. N on Dec. 1 from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas and a portion of Red Ribbontini sales (some kind of AIDS martini concoction?) will also go toward the cause. I, for one, hope to go for an early bang trim, because Wicked haircuts aren't cheap! Oh, and I also hate AIDS. Hope to see you out there!
