I see London, I see France...
There's nothing wrong with dressing to turn heads. It's why we wear makeup and get blowouts and rock killer heels. But can we all agree that putting our delicates on display crosses a line we should have discovered around 9th grade? Or am I the only one who thought see-through shirts went the way of blue snakeskin boots, zebra-striped hair highlights, silver eyeliner and the other fashion misfortunes of the early oughts?
And yet here it is, smack in the middle of my new issue of In Style magazine: advice on rockin' your most garish skivvies under a poor excuse for a tissue. Why, why, why???
Don't get me wrong. I can appreciate a good lingerie-inspired bodice on a show-stoppingly sexy gown. But remember what we learned from the classic 80's one-hit-wonder "Centerfold" (By the J. Geils Band... yeah, I had to Google) -- "To see her in that negligee is really just too much."
