Indulge Fashion Show won't clash with Fashion Week Tampa Bay
Fashion Week Tampa Bay would be the bread. Indulge Fashion Show would be the meat.
* Clothing, of course. In the words of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Dwight Eubanks, a fashion show without fashions is just plain dreadful. Fifteen female and five male models in Karl Kani urban gear; Bahia swimwear; rock group LMFAO's Party Rock clothing line; duds from the South Tampa boutique Reborn Couture (owner Nevada Vanderford is co-organizing the event); and more.
* Live performances. For starters, there will be music by deejays Christion and Knex (pronounced "Connects"). Then, Gerbolingo said, "We're doing something very Rock the Runway." The University of South Florida's Sigma Lambda Beta step team will open the show. Then out comes model/R&B singer Marie Lodato, who will sing over the step team's beat. All-male R&B group TMP will perform as the models hit the catwalk. "It's very MTV," Gerbolingo said.
* Swanky decor. The theater lobby will be decked out all in white - drapes, couches and runway.
General admission tickets are $20. Want more?
