I've been a bad, bad girl
If your weekend was anything like mine, you threw caution to the wind when it came to your waistband and pocketbook.
I know this blog is usually chock-full of info on sales and other sundry shopping tips.
But can I say that this weekend, a culmination of sales, food, sales and beer, has left me with a bit of excess guilt. The pesky 10 pounds I dropped before July is staging a comeback. And after a killer sale at Dillard's and Victoria's Secret, let's just say my bank account is aching like it just went two rounds with Sasha Fierce!
Last night, I vowed to do the following three things in order to rectify some of the damage I have done to my life.
1. Brown bag it for a week: I try to do this often, but this week I'm seriously going to bring my lunch every day. (Even Friday.) According to my calculations, I'll save at least $50 by not eating out.
2. Brew my own coffee: Ever add up your weekly Starbucks bill? Don't! It will only make you cry. Instead plop down the $8 bucks for a pound of decent coffee and brew your own.
3. Take a walk at lunch: This should help with the holiday pounds and also take the place of the high I got from all sorts of retail therapy this weekend.
What do you plan to do to make up for excess over the weekend? Or were you a good girl and watched the calories and coins?
