Jessica Alba wears a peacock dress to Valentine's Day premiere
I have to take a moment from my busy day (I mean, my Diet Coke schedule is just really hectic right now), to give praise where praise is due. I've been seeing this picture on all the blogz the past couple days, to varying degrees of Haterade and admiration. It's Jessica Alba at the premiere of her new movie Valentine's Day. As an aside, this movie also stars exactly three quarters of the world. I think my Grandma has a cameo, as well as the leggings I wore last night and my mac and cheese box from lunch yesterday. It's a totally cloying money vacuum, and I'm tragic enough to admit I still want to see it. But anyway.
Here she is:
It's a peacock! It's covered in feathers! It's short and kicky! It's beautiful shades of blue and green and it makes me want to go dance on the piano at Howl at the Moon! It's also roomy enough to facilitate breathing and general sandwich enjoyment, and to that I would suggest Jessica might actually want to try eating one such carbohydrate. Girl is srsly skinny. Anyway, the dress is presh, and I think she nailed it.
The shoes are a little... well, they look like the the type of thing that might be available at Spooksville Halloween Emporium under the section marked "Sexy Nursewear." And they are indicative of the trend we keep seeing of shoes dyed to match the dress, a la your Aunt Janie's wedding Dyeables circa 1994. We'll be watching for more of that at the Oscars. But much like the enduring work of cinema titled Valentine's Day, I'm not too proud to say "I WANT TO GO TO THERE."
What do you say, haters?
