Lindsay Lohan's white court dress sells out online
The webz are afire with crankypants takes on the dress Lindsay Lohan wore to court this week to face charges she stole a necklace (pause for MOTHERLY SIGH). And listen. I totally agree, this was inappropriate court fashion, a warped celebrity land we've taken you through before. She should have worn her most conservative suit, which is to say, she should have bought a brand new conservative suit. This was a dumb move. Really, really dumb. For real.
When I saw her on TV trotting around in this, I turned to my boyfriend and said, God help my soul, but I said... "She looks great."
I mean, that's a really cute white dress, and it fits her pretty well. A little bunchy, but in my mind, this is the best she's looked in, like, ever. DON'T GET ME WRONG, PLEASE. She should have worn this to some kind of Hollywood party or a movie premiere, if she's still invited to that sort of thing. NOT. TO. COURT.
But... God grant me serenity... I can't help but like it.
I'm not the only one. The dress, called the "Glavis" and priced at $575 from Kimberly Ovitz's pre-fall collection, has pretty much sold out in online stores. I don't like it THAT much, but I get it.
BUT NOT FOR COURT.
