My Outfit Monday: Going for golf glory?
My love for blazers is well-documented and predictable, so I thought I would share something new that I am trying with my wardrobe these days.
Pshhh. Just jesting. You know what I say to taking chances? Take them in moderation after considering all of the consequences.
This outfit revolves around another statement blazer.

Groan, I know. But! But! There's more to the story.
I bought this jacket from H&M in December, not long after writing about Pantone's selection of emerald as its 2013 color of the year.
I swear, I only thought about it for 20 minutes before making the call. For me, that counts as impulsive purchasing.
As you can see from my pose beside Pinellas County, I've enjoyed wearing the bold jacket. Yes, even after a TV producer quipped that it makes me look like I just won the Masters at Augusta National. See the resemblance?

Sir, you make a good point. Something tells me, though, the nails of successful golf pro Bubba Watson are not painted with this strain of nail polish.

To drive home the point that I am not vying for a major golf championship, I paired my outfit with the über girly Modcloth bag and speckeld floral silk blouse from Marshalls. My predictable pants are from Express and my predictable pointed-toe heels are from Nine West.
It's all very crazy, I tell you. Moderately.
