My Outfit Monday: Mellow Yellow
Good morning everyone!
You know those days when you wish you had a personal stylist (yea, like every day, right?)
That was me this morning. Couldn't think of what I wanted to wear. Didn't have any ideas.
In desperation, I called out to the Internets, or more accurately, the Twitterverse.
Alas, no fashion fairy came to save me.
So I muddled through. Here's what I came up with. How'd I do?
The gray high waisted skirt comes from Forever 21. Actually, It's not exactly gray, more like teeny tiny diagonal stripes of black and white that makes it look gray.
Then, because I rarely wear it, I decided to go with a simple yellow (mustard?) top.
It's soft and has a little ruching at the top of the sleeves. I like it. I can't remember where it came from.
When I looked in the mirror, I still felt like I needed ... something.
So I grabbed one of the newest additions to my wardrobe: a cream belt that cost me $20 at TJ Maxx.
I know, I usually don't pay that much for stuff like belts, but this one has a little sparkle in the front. Sparkles, guys.
And down to the ground, I have on one of my absolute fave pairs of platform pumps.
I call them my "lattice" shoes, cause they've got this pattern etched into the suede that looks, like, well, lattice. They came from Kohl's.
Almost forgot, the necklace! I think you guys have seen it before, right? That also came from Kohl's, eons ago.
