My Outfit Monday: Serious Leopard Business
Hooray! Chilly morning, FINALLY, so it's time to break out the cute fall clothes. I'm a little more dressed up than normal, partly because I'm filling in for my vacationing boss today, partly because I've been dying to wear a couple of these brand new wardrobe pieces.

The top is from Nordstrom, a leopard print tie-neck tank which you can tie high for a more professional, buttoned-down look, or low for a
casual look. I'm aiming high today. I love the colors in this, and the elastic waist makes it blousey and ruffley, so you can leave it tucked out.
But the real star of this morning's My Outfit Monday is the black riding jacket, also from Nordstrom. It has fun detailing, like ruched three-quarter-length sleeves and a single front button, but I especially love the vented duck-tail back. Kinda tough to see here in my favorite ladies' room photo studio, through the lens of my trusty Android phone camera. But you get the idea.
The skirt is a hand-me-down and the black slingback Barbie shoes are making a second My Outfit appearance. Closed-toe pumps would have made a better choice, but I don't have any of those in my closet at the moment. Besides, why are you looking at my shoes? The jacket, folks! Look at the jacket!

Kameel Stanley has never encountered a thrift store she didn’t like. Her mother taught her that the true value of clothes isn’t how much they cost, but how many outfits one can create from them. Having grown up in Michigan, she was delighted to learn upon moving to Florida that she almost never needed to wear socks or boots again. There’s a lot of turnover in her closet, and she’s obsessed with dresses, necklaces and wedge heels. She can be reached at (727) 893-8643 or
