Pant-challenged male reader needs help finding pants
You guys, a reader needs help. This time it's Obu, and he's a man, and he has some very... interesting requirements for his pants. Obu writes:
Do you have any good places online to buy men's pants? I don't want dress pants but I don't want jeans either. I'm basically thinking something like J.Crew or American Apparel but something that isn't either one of those places. I know I should just go to International Plaza, but that's not gonna happen. Any ideas? I love clothes shopping but just not in department stores or malls. I can't stand the smells or the music. I like shopping in vintage stores but that's how I end up with blue corduroy pants with big white stars on the butt. And I can't wear those to work. I can't wear about 90% of my clothes to work.
Banana Republic is too expensive. And I hate khakis. Hate the way they look, the colors they come in (khaki?), the way khaki is spelled, hate it all. Also chinos. What's a chino? It's just a khaki, right? Whatever, I can't stomach them. Help!
Any suggestions, Diva Nation? Is Obu out of luck? Or should he loosen up a little on the restrictions? You'd think he was a girl looking for a husband!
