Professional plucking worth the wait (but I should have done it sooner!)
When I was in college, one of my friends went to a spa to get her eyebrows waxed and came home with nearly all her brows missing.
Talk about traumatic.
That mishap – and the months of eyebrow penciling that followed – squarely spoiled my appetite for any professional eyebrow treatments. Call it a trust issue. I preferred to pluck and shape and smooth myself. The result wasn’t perfect, but it beat the brow obliteration my poor friend endured.
