Professional plucking worth the wait (but I should have done it sooner!)
When I was in college, one of my friends went to a spa to get her eyebrows waxed and came home with nearly all her brows missing.
Talk about traumatic.
That mishap – and the months of eyebrow penciling that followed – squarely spoiled my appetite for any professional eyebrow treatments. Call it a trust issue. I preferred to pluck and shape and smooth myself. The result wasn’t perfect, but it beat the brow obliteration my poor friend endured.
But not too long ago, my hairstylist sister finally convinced me to turn to an eyebrow expert for a trim and pluck job. And guess what? Totally worth it! This may be a major DUH to some of you, but I was surprised by how much $20 worth of TLC on the top of my face improved my overall appearance.
Now I pledge to do a better job of plucking, and I will continue to count on Lancome’s amazing brow groomer for the finishing touch. (Get free shipping plus 2 deluxe samples on all Lancome online purchases through Thursday. No promotion code needed.)
As for waxing? Nope, still not going there.
