'Project Runway' episode 2: Ben Chmura had this challenge in the bag!
I didn't make it to local guy Ben Chmura's Project Runway viewing party, but I just finished watching the show at home with my trusty dog, Jackie, by my side.
This week's challenge was based on the saying that a beautiful woman could look good in anything, even a potato sack. To that end, the 15 remaining designers had to create a party outfit for their models from burlap sacks.
For the second week in a row, Chmura finished in the middle batch of contestants -- not the best, but not the worst. "I do feel I was able to balance not only what my client wanted, but also my personal aesthetic," Chumra said on the show. And of the finished product: "I am ecstatic. It was timeless. It could be appropriate for this year or 10 years from now."
Divas, this makes two weeks that Chmura hasn't gotten much camera time. What should we make of this? Is Chmura a forgettable fashionista, or are the Project Runway producers just trying to psych us out?
