"Project Runway" episode 4: Show Ben Chmura some love!
So last week, I was all whiny about how Lifetime's Project Runway isn't knocking my socks off. This week's episode had me seeing red -- in a good way.
In honor of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign, each designer had to whip up a crimson ball gown for a "real" woman who is a heart disease survivor. (As opposed to a fake woman? But we know what they mean; these were everyday, curvy gals, not models.)
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Tampa's Ben Chmura finished in the middle of the pack. Again. Which is totally bogus! Chmura's design was chic, flattering and well constructed. He belonged in the best-and-worst batch, no?
Divas, what gives? Chmura's no drama king, so he doesn't always make for good television. But the dude is one talented designer. How far do you think he'll go on Project Runway? If and when he gets kicked off the show, will you still watch?
