'Project Runway' episode 5: Always a bridesmaid...
Okay Divas, let's talk Project Runway.
This week, the competitors had to design a dress for Heidi Klum to wear on the April cover of Marie Claire magazine. The prize was so fab, in fact, that the winner would not receive the standard immunity for the next challenge.
Tampa's own Ben Chmura OWNED this challenge. He created a belted turquoise, yellow and chocolate brown jersey dress with a cutout back. He called his vibrant creation "a modern interpretation of Madame Butterfly in technicolor." I call it fierce. And for once, the judges agreed.
The panel said Chmura's dress was modern and would turn heads at the news stand. It landed him in the crop of the week's top finishers.
"It's fantastic that Ben showed this kind of confidence," judge Nina Garcia said.
Said Chmura, "Maybe this is the one. This could be my moment."
Divas, Chmura was robbed! Who's with me?
