Salma Hayek let hubby double as stylist
Salma Hayek did. The cover girl for InStyle magazine's April issue dishes about how she was so busy leading her fabulous celebrity life -- she plays Alec Baldwin's girlfriend on 30 Rock and plays mommy in real life -- that her husband swooped in and took charge of managing the creation of her gown for the Golden Globes.
Ok, so it helps that her new hubby is Francois Henri-Pinault, CEO of fashion empire PPR, which oversees Balenciaga, Gucci and YSL. Acting as Hayek's stylist, he coordinated the back and forth of swatches and sketches and fittings for his wife's champagne Bottega Veneta gown.
Though it would be hard to make a woman as gorgeous as Hayek look ugly (but Lord knows plenty of Hollywood stylists manage to turn their beautiful clients into awards show fashion disasters), Henri-Pinault helped pull off a smoking hot look for his wife.
I do wonder, though, whether it was hubby or designer who decided to prop up Hayek's full bosom that high on a pedestal. Definitely a man's touch, don't you think?
