Street Beat: Bicycle Blues
I was walking to CVS in downtown St. Petersburg this afternoon, and I saw this gorgeous, tall girl come out of the store in a blue tunic and black leggings. I thought for sure she was headed for the car parked on the street, but I squealed when she walked to the antique-looking bike chained up next to the car! I have a fascination with women who ride bicycles and still manage to look flawless and chic, perhaps because I can barely get out of my car without spilling something on my lap or getting my hair caught in the door.
Obviously, I chased her down. Here is Rachel Rinehart, 24, who lives and rides all over downtown St. Petersburg. She's a server at Cassis American Brasserie, and she just got back from a trip to New York where she stocked up on fashion finds. Her dress is Zara.

Her platform shoes were Steve Madden from Macy's. Amazing.

I assumed her bicycle was a pricey vintage model, but she assured me it was from Walmart. We should probably hire this girl.
The moral of the story is, if you're on the street looking awesome, beware. The Deal Divas have cameras, and we're not afraid to use them.
