Style Sighting: The paper fan
On a Saturday morning stroll through Ybor recently, I came across brilliance!
A cool chic sipping a beer outside was using a pretty paper fan to cool off.
Sadly, I didn't have my camera with me, but I just had to share this nugget of style and utility with you all.
Duh...all this time I'm thinking how on earth does a girl stay cute while enjoying a cocktail outside in this Florida heat?
The answer: the paper fan.
The fan has popped up on a few runways this year, peep this look by Tokyo Cop at Vancouver's Fashion Week this past March. And I can't count the number of weddings I've seen the "fan" used in (my own included.)
But the style genius of the Ybor chic was that she was dressed so simply. Jeans, T-shirt, shades and bam she's waving this dainty Asian-print fan.
It's definitely not a style choice for those who don't want to turn heads and maybe even get a few stares, luckily I am not of this set.
Did I mention they're dirt cheap...check out these cool options at Luna Bazaar.
