Um, can you turn the volume on those shows down?
So the other day I wore these to work:
They were a forgotten purchase from who-knows-when that I'd apparently stashed in the back of my closet (bad, I know). I unearthed them during a massive laundry haul and half-hearted attempt at "organizing" my closet.
The good news was because of that, they still have that shiney new appearance thing going on. It was a nice change from my everyday work shoes, which are getting a little worse for wear (which reminds me to go see Deal Diva Emily's shoe cobbler soon). I even got a couple compliments.
I didn't realize until I got to the office just how LOUD they were.
Seriously, walking into the lobby at work was downright embarrasing. Everywhere I went it was squeak, squeak, squeak. I felt like I needed some WD-40 down there.
Anybody ever have this happen? Know any good tips for squeaky shoes? Or am I doomed until they're "broken in."?
