Website serves up kitsch galore
Here's the latest installment in the completely unnecessary but fabulous, otherwise known as CUBF, files.
A fellow fashionable friend recently put me on to www.delight.com a shopping portal for kitschy finds for your home, office, body and pets. Now I can't keep myself from buying completely unnecessary but fabulous knick-knackery.
A lot of delight.com's buys are earth-friendly and it's pretty hard to find anything over $100. What I also like about the site is that each item is reviewed by the online-staff.
Here are a few things I have my eyes on. Sure, I didn't know I *needed* them until I logged on, but they're so darn cheap and cute I can't resist.
Lego shaped iPod speakers. I *heart* the green one. In a word: nifty. These are a must for the office and perfect for the kiddies room. $19.75.
Romantic and twirly -- this candelabra personifies two of my favorite things. It's also bendable and the two candles can be separated. What more can you ask for in candles? $25.50.
My tax lady will be proud. For years she's been trying to get me to save and organize my receipts. Well now I have a reason to do so with these magnificent folders! $13.75.
My hubs is the breakfast guy in our family, but this cute egg poacher would actually make me want to brush up on my first meal skills. Did i mention it's GREEN! $19.95.
