When eyelashes meet Alice in Wonderland
Chinese paper-cut eyelashes! Cool, huh? I'm not sure you'd want to wear these to an important business meeting at the Pentagon. Really, I'm not sure you'd want to wear them at all. I just think it's neat they exist. They come in seahorse and deer antler and peacock shapes -- all of the obvious choices you'd expect to find framing the eyeballs.
Paperself is actually more of an experimental art gallery than a beauty store. In fact, it describes itself as a "a platform for the innovative exploration of paper for contemporary product design." But they do sell the lashes for 10 to 12 British pounds, which comes out to $16 to $20 a pair, plus shipping from Europe. Ain't no deals going on here. But for an awesome conversation piece for your face, it's not too bad. I'd do something like this for Halloween or an Alice in Wonderland theme party.
