Cute workout wear on a budget

Despite my love of dresses, I often feel like the majority of my free time is spent in workout clothes. Most of the time, it's because I'm at roller derby practice (yes! roller derby!) or going for a run. But, let's be honest, sometimes it's just nice to relax in a pair of stretchy yoga pants while watching reruns of Revenge and shoveling popcorn.

Whatever the activity, comfort and great fit is always my first goal. I don't want to be constantly adjusting my shorts during a workout. And today's workout wear is chock full of strategically placed compression panels and sweat wicking fabrics to help. But, fashion is not far behind. I'm much more excited to head outdoors for a run if my outfit looks put together. And, for me, that means gravitating towards bright patterns or neon colors.

So, being the Deal Diva that I am, I'm always on the lookout for good deals. Sure, I lust after Lululemon, who doesn't? But that brand is way beyond my budget. Instead, I hit Target and Marshalls, where I can find a variety of brands and styles. I've also discovered that Wal-Mart is a treasure trove of inexpensive workout essentials such as black yoga capris and colorful sports bras. And Kohl's often has sales on its Nike and FILA gear, including all those great colorful sneakers everyone has been sporting lately.

Does anyone else obsess over chic workout gear? Where do you find great deals?
