Deal Divas' Favorite Things: Shelley
It's Friday! I don't know if it's because all of my Thanksgiving leftovers are long gone or because I'm still recovering from all that tryptophan-laced turkey, but this week has felt forever long. Luckily, we had the Deal Divas' Favorite Things to get us through it.
And, it's finally my turn to contribute.
Like the other Deal Divas before me, price usually tops the list as my biggest concern. But, I also think of the holidays as a time to indulge, especially when buying gifts for others. So, I've filled my list with things that are purely fun favorites of mine.
I don't have these exact earrings (yet!) but I do have a similar gold pair from Kate Spade that say "ooh" on one ear and "lala" on the other. I wear them when my hair is up to show them off. These $32 "Pop" and "Fizz" earrings would be perfect for New Year's Eve, no?
I stumbled upon this a few weeks ago while looking for a punch recipe. And now I'm in love. Made in Paris, St-Germain is an elderflower liqueur meant for adding to champagne or sparkling wine. Pair it with a bottle of cheap bubbly and you have a great hostess gift. Plus, the bottle is beautiful and makes the $29.99 price tag totally worth it. Bonus points if you find the holiday gift package like I did and score a free glass carafe!
My dad passed along to me a love for writing in composition notebooks - those black and white ones often found in science labs. But let's face it, they are not the cutest thing to have lying around. That's where Minted comes in. Choose a cover design (there are plenty suitable for her or him) and then add a personalized message and photo to the inside of the front cover. The notebooks are $16.
Is there anything better than cozying up in a soft robe and drinking coffee on a chilly weekend morning? Nope. At least, not in my book. I have two of these robes from years past (leopard print and hot pink zebra) and they've held up great over time. And, surprise! They are from Kirkland's, a home decor store. Score one now in blue, pink or white for just $15.
I have a slight obsession with cosmetics - a problem that has only escalated since discovering Benefit. This beauty brand always has the cutest packaging and I have yet to try a product I don't like.
This kit comes with a mini version of my all time favorite They're Real! mascara, a mini POREfessional, a mini cheek stain, a cheek powder duo with brush and a 4 shade eyeshadow palette with sponge applicator. The best part? It comes in a super stylish tin, making it perfect for gift giving. And at $36, it's a perfect introduction to the brand.
And don't forget to join in on the fun! Leave your favorite things in the comments, or tweet us @dealdivas. You can also send Instagrams of your favorite things using the hashtag #dealdivasfavoritethings.
