Eugenia Woods closing with a sale
Sad news about local accessories shop Eugenia Woods: It's closing after five years.
You may have seen the handpainted clutches and iPad cases of Eugenia Woods at Tampa Bay Fashion Week, indie markets, or a small space in the 600 block of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg.
Owner and painter Rebekah (Eugenia) Lazaridis said her team is moving on to brighter adventures.
"We've taken this business as far as we want to go with it and are so thankful to each of you for your support over the years," she said in a news release.
The upside is that the store is selling its remaining merchandise on its website and Etsy store until Dec. 31. Many of the pieces scream Florida pride, with handpainted flamingoes, thunderstorms and waves.
