Fab Friday: Michelle Bremer
Happy Fourth! On today's installment of Fab Friday, we bring you blogger Michelle Bremer, who is helping us ring in the holiday with her own very fashionable blend of red, white and blue clothing pieces and accessories.
Michelle -- whom I first met at a Macy's fashion show hosted by the Deal Divas -- is a fixture at local runway events where she can often be found flitting about with a camera in hand, snapping photos for her blog Runway Translator. There, she has documented the local fashion scene and offered commentary on new trends, boutiques and more since 2011. All that expertise recently landed her a gig as a judge for the Eye on Fashion wardrobe stylists competition.
We'll let Michelle take it from here. But don't forget that you could be featured, too! Tweet us @DealDivas or email us at the addys to the right.

Style Philosophy: Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous! If comfort is key, find pieces that look and feel great. If looking gorgeous at all times is important to you, fill your wardrobe with beautiful frocks that fit well and look amazing. As a busy Mom to two young children I need my clothing to be comfortable, but as an authority on style I also need to maintain a very polished image. My wardrobe is my hardest working tool because it speaks volumes about who I am and what I stand for. I feel most fabulous when I’m wearing an ensemble that is both extremely stylish and super comfortable.
Best Deal Ever: Oh boy, this is a tough one... I’m a very thrifty shopper! I have collected countless incredible pieces over the years, many of which cost me only a small portion of the original retail prices... some brand new and found on the sale racks of local boutiques, some gently used and found on EBay or in thrift stores. If I had to pick my favorite fashion score I’d say it’s my pair of gold super-high Sigerson Morrison wedge sandals. They’re insanely sexy and I stalked them in the clearance room at Deborah Kent’s until they got down to fifty bucks (they were originally something like $485). I’ve had them for years and never get tired of wearing them when I want to feel like a tall, leggy super model.
Favorite Places to Shop: I’m a big fan of shopping in all forms. As a stylist I have to be resourceful when hunting fashion for my clients. If I’m shopping online I like to source via Polyvore.com because it’s a great hub for e-commerce. It’s one-stop shopping and great finds can come from literally anywhere in the world. I’m also an advocate of shopping locally and helping to support the small businesses here in Tampa. A few of my favorites are Deborah Kent’s, Rehab, Fresh Threads, and JC’s Boutique. I’m not crazy about the malls, but sometimes it’s more convenient for my clients’ schedules and I usually have good luck in Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Basically, I like to shop just about anywhere... it’s my all-time favorite sport!
Random Fun Fact: I’m not sure what would be more surprising to people, the fact that I used to ride motorcycles or that I’m the PTA President at my children’s elementary school. I think both of those fun facts pretty much sum up who I am, a gal who loves to have fun but takes care of what’s important, family first!
