Happy spring! Need pink shoes.

I had a horrifying moment this morning when I didn't know who I was or what I stood for.

I was dressing cheerfully for the first day of spring. I selected a pale pink top with a ruffle neck, and a black and white floral print jacket fresh out the 1980s that I picked up at the Dress for Success sale. I wore a blousy skort (not a misprint -- they're formal shorts to the knee that look like skirt), the kind of thing that says, "I am so relaxed without you, Polar Vortex!" The last element was shoes. Sure, it might have been a little matchy-matchy, I thought, but this was a special day and I wanted to tie in the pink top with my favorite pair of pink shoes.

My world fell off its axis and other overly dramatic things. I have at least five pairs of red shoes, two purples, gads and gads of blacks and nudes. But pink? Sorely lacking (other than an old pair of pink cowboy boots I reserve for theme parties on urban farms).

Clearly, I need to fix this. I once had a pair of hot pink pumps from H&M that died at a party that moved to a muddy backyard, and while I loved the neon of it all, I think I might prefer to go pastel, a more on-trend feel for spring.

I found some possibilities from Anne Klein at DSW, Mel by Melissa Mel Raspberry at Zappos, Nasty Gal, Asos, and New Look. See any others? Hope you're enjoying this weather in a festive color for spring, unlike me, whose shoes are definitely black right now.
