Neutrals are so hot and costume-friendly right now.

If you haven’t had your Halloween costume planned for the last 11 months like I have, do not fret. As Queen Juice*, I've come up with a ton of pop culture-inspired ideas for you. And since I wouldn't want you to shell out for a costume that you can only wear once, I suggest picking up some trendy items that will make a statement long after All Hallows’ Eve.

Let's shop it out, trend by trend.

Cookie Lyon from Empire: No one will question who you are when you show up in fabulous fur and tons of gold. Add a snakeskin clutch for good measure.

Miss Piggy: She’s so hot right now, and so is her love of animal print, jewels and flowing locks. Just remember to throw on a pig nose to avoid looking like a Kardashian.

Peggy Olson from Mad Men: The now-iconic vision of Elisabeth Moss as Peggy walking into McCann Erickson is burned into our brains. Hit up ModCloth for a button-embellished skirt, plaid top and retro shades that can be mixed and matched with other pieces in your closet. Don’t forget the cigarette and box, and you get major kudos if you can haul around a risque octopus painting.

Joy from Inside Out: Pick up a sweet green fit-and-flare dress and short blue wig. Boom.

Luis Santana | Times

50 Shades of Grey: Enough said. Fully commit with gray face paint, black lips and completely covered arms and legs like these folks did when they hit last year's Guavaween as a film noir couple.

Universal Pictures

Phyllis Nefler from Troop Beverly Hills: We’re bringing this 1989 classic back mainly because camel and capes are so en vogue. And because we are all Phyllis Nefler, aren’t we? Plus, being in the Halloween wilderness is no excuse not to look your best. Pair with hunter green accessories.

Universal Pictures

Claire or Owen from Jurassic World: For Claire, a flowy white button-up top and skirt make for the better half of a perfect couple’s costume. Belt the top, and throw on a white blazer if the weather is cool. When it comes to Owen, denim on denim is no longer just a Jay Leno thing. Supermodels have been rocking this look on the streets of L.A., Chris Pratt closely mimicked it in Jurassic World, and now, it’s your turn to give it a go. (Here's how to make it work.)

Beyoncé: If you don’t already own the Ivy League-inspired KALE sweatshirt made famous by her 7/11 video, now’s the time to acquire it and pair it with some teeny, tiny leopard print shorts.

Doughnut-licking Ariana Grande: Pull out your trusty gray hoodie and slip into those raunchy boots you’ve been too afraid to buy. Don’t forget the pink doughnut and cat ears!

Taylor Swift squad: Dress like you’re going out, but make sure one of the girls in your group (preferably a blonde) is wearing a high-waisted skirt or pants, a crop top, bright red lipstick and spot-on cat eyes. And stick together, ladies, or it just won’t make sense.

A few less fashionable ideas that are nevertheless super fun: pizza rat, escaped llamas, #TheDress (you know, the one that changed colors on us), Sia, Left Shark, Harrison Ford in a plane crash, Stella from Orange Is the New Black, dead Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, Lego Oscar.
