Deal Divas

Stephanie Hayes, Katie Sanders, Kameel Stanley, & Keyonna Summers

I went shopping and fell in love with an e.l.f.

Lured by the siren song of Kameel's latest post about lipsticks on clearance-in-price-but-not-in-awesomeness at Target, I found myself -- against my will, really -- pulled into its beautiful, red shininess on Dr. Martin Luther King St. N in St. Pete before work today.

Really, I just meant to stop for dog food at friendly neighboring Petsmart. But then... I needed face wash, too. And I mean, I was already THERE. So...

Anyway, let's not pick it apart. I just wanted to pop in here quickly to tell you that Maybelline Color Show nailpolish was $2. Yes. Two. Dollars. And not like, oh, here's four gross shades on sale because clearly nobody likes to paint their nails the color barf green. They had a ton of great colors. And who knows, maybe there's something I don't know about the brand and it's secretly the worst thing ever and will allow a creepy quasi-government lab to take over control of my hands, but really, I doubt it. For $2, I'm okay with finding out.

I also nabbed e.l.f. Studio HD blush for $3 and e.l.f. Essential Tone Correcting Concealer for $1. Yep, you read that right. Of course, I haven't tried either of them yet, so I can't speak to the quality, but I've been very happy with the few other e.l.f. products I've bought before. I sort of just found out the brand existed a few months ago, and recently bought their face primer, since YouTube beauty guru Nicole Guerriero advises using primer to not have your face melt off (she was, obviously, a thousand percent right, by the way). So yeah, I'm Team e.l.f.

Have you scored any ridiculously good beauty deals lately? No really, have you? Please share! (On Twitter @dealdivas or in the comments!)
