I'm 4-5 seconds from buying the 'weather woman dress'
A new #TheDress took the Internet by storm recently, but you may have missed the viral garment if your weather source is your phone and not local television.
Slate has the story about why female TV meteorologists are snatching up the same dress from Amazon.
No one is mad about stolen looks.
The stretchy Homeyee pencil dress comes in seven different colors (dibs on houndstooth) and includes flattering side and waist panels.
And it's only $22.99.
For women who appear on TV every day, this dress is ideal. It lets them move around while gesturing in front of a green screen about wind and humidity. The slight bodycon style looks professional and feminine without being club-ready. It takes the mental work out of choosing what to wear at 2 a.m. (or earlier?) before the morning broadcast. And it's not going to break a wardrobe budget.
The only downside might be that it's hand-wash only.
I've heard one Deal Diva already owns it.
