My Outfit Monday: Last-minute luck
When I woke up this morning, I had every intention of showing you all an outfit from this weekend.
No rush, I thought, rolling over in my bed and hitting snooze a half dozen times.
Of course, by the time I actually got up and got my act together, I was left with only 30 minutes to figure out clothes ... which wouldn't have been so bad had the majority of my wardrobe not been balled up in a pile on the floor where it'd landed on the way to the washer days before. #SuperSingleGirlBehaviorFail
For a few minutes, I paced.
But like most of us, I have a few items hanging in my closet that I rarely wear. That navy skirt that I could never quite find the right top for? Worked perfectly this morning with a hi-lo hem white sheer blouse ($13 on clearance at Urban Outfitters) that I usually reserve for skinny jeans and summer nights out on the town.
But the top has cutouts on the back that just won't work for the office, so let's throw in my favorite chartreuse sweater. And why not cinch it with a brown belt while we're at it?
Add my burgundy Nine West heels ($29 on sale from DSW) for an extra pop of color and some accessories and Voila! We have today's My Outfit Monday look, with time to spare for breakfast.
So, how'd I do, fellow Deevs? Is this look fab or fug?
