My Outfit Monday: New Deal Diva edition
If you haven't already noticed, the Deal Divas added two new gals to the roster last week. And I'm lucky enough to be one of them. Check out the About the bloggers section of this page to see our glamour shots and bios.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shelley Rossetter and I love to shop. Luckily, for my bank account, I also love snagging a good deal. Coupons, thrift stores and clearance racks are my jam. My inbox is flooded with sales news daily. I even subscribe to stores or designers a bit too expensive for my budget, just in case. And poring through the junk mail can pay off. Just last spring, I scored a Kate Spade purse at 75 percent off after an email clued me into a surprise sale.
I think today’s My Outfit Monday is a reflection of my shopping savvy. I’m off on Mondays so that usually means it’s a jeans and T-shirt day for me. But Deal Diva Stephanie Hayes kindly offered to snap a photo of me last Friday when the Deal Divas officially welcomed me into the fold.
I knew I’d be having drinks with the girls after work so I chose an outfit I thought transitioned well from day to night. I paired a bright, neon orange T-shirt from Target ($6, on sale!) with a tan animal print skirt from Forever 21. I find myself reaching for this skirt often because it pairs well with so many different colors in my wardrobe. Plus, it has pockets.
The sandals are from DSW and were purchased with a coupon, of course. I threw on the bracelets last minute because I thought the teal complemented the orange. The big one is my favorite, a Kate Spade bracelet gifted to me by my bestie.
So, what do you think? Be kind, it’s my first day.
