New app lets you cruise through closets from around the world
Remember when I extolled the wonders of getting stuff from friends and gushed about my new favorite shopping spot, Katie's Closet?
Well now there's apparently an app for that.
One of our favorite fashion blogs by the New York Times tells us about a new way to shop your friends' (virtual and otherwise) closets.
The app is called Walk in my Closet, and it's super new. How new? I just downloaded it from iTunes and when I clicked on the "Shop" tab, it brought up a screen that said, "Coming Soon."
Whatever, it still sounds like a cool concept, right? It's supposed to work like this. You take photos of stuff in your closet (presumably things you don't want or wear anymore) and then can sell them (minus a 25 percent commission they keep)
And, if you don't care about the whole buying/selling thing, you could probably just use the app as a fun way to keep a catalogue of your closet, and get ideas from others.
