Here's a look at what's happening on the shopping scene this week.

MUSICAL MERRIMENT: SUNDIAL-STYLE
’Tis the season for shopping, entertainment and good, old-fashioned merriment. Gather your gang and head to Sundial this weekend as the luxe St. Pete shopping center hosts a multitude of musicians. On Friday, check out the Ben Winkler Trio. Shop, dine and enjoy jazz music featuring vocalist and St. Petersburg College adjunct professor Sasha Tuck from 6 to 8 p.m. On Saturday at 11 a.m., guest conductor Roderick Cox will lead the Florida Orchestra as they wrap up the center’s seasonal entertainment (see Stage Planner on Pages 10-11  for more).  153 Second Ave. N, St. Petersburg. sundialstpete.com.

GOOD WRAP: BAND TOGETHER
Imagine you’re playing one of those 76 trombones leading the big parade. The Newsome High School Wolfpack Marching Band is chasing that dream, and they need your support. The band has partnered with Barnes & Noble to raise money for a trip to New York City to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2016. The group’s members will be wrapping gifts for donations at Barnes & Noble Brandon Square, 122 Brandon Town Center, Brandon, from 6 to 8 tonight. They act as your personal elves, and you send them to the Big Apple. Win-win.

SIPS AND SALES: EAT, DRINK AND BE THRIFTY
As the end of the year draws nigh, everything (and everyone) is starting to feel a tad crazy. Thank goodness for Botiki, because the Gulfport beach boutique is offering complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres during their holiday open house on Friday. If you don’t stop in for the Botiki-tinis (and why wouldn’t you?), 75 percent off select items might convince you to attend the event that features a Brighton trunk show and raffles to boot. It all goes down between 5 and 8 p.m. 3015 Beach Blvd. S, Gulfport. bo-tiki.com

TICK TOCK: HOLIDAY SHOPS
- Holiday Drop and Shop: Kids ages 6 to 12 can enjoy pizza, snacks and even a movie while you finish your Christmas shopping. It costs just $5 for the priceless kid-free breather at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Broderick Recreation Center, 6101 66th Ave. N, Pinellas Park. (727) 541-0844.
- Parents Shop/Kids Create: Parents, now’s your chance to get away from your kids and nurture their love of art all at the same time. Leave your little cherubs to create art while you shop the Morean and surrounding stores. It’s $25 for the first child and $15 for additional siblings. Morean Arts Center, 719 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. (727) 822-7872. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
- Holiday Craft Show: This vendor-filled affair comes just in time for last-minute shoppers. Handcrafted items and direct sales are to be had during this free event starting at 9 a.m. Saturday  at the Gunn Highway Flea Market, 2317 Gunn Highway, Odessa. (937) 853-6983.
