Things discovered on ModCloth today, and it's not even clothes
The ads! They got me!
I saw one on Facebook today that read, "Shop Ambitious Workwear," which, on this sleepy Monday morning after the holiday when we're all trying to get it back together, just had such APLOMB. Something about the wording and the neighboring photo of an army green blazer paired with a bright pink chunky necklace made me click through to the site.
We've always loved the funky, retro offerings from ModCloth, but it had been a while since I'd been out to the site. What I found when directed to the ModCloth blog was neato.
1. Profiles of professional woman.
They call this feature their Best Job Ever series. There's an interview featured with Erica Muxlow, who is a computer engineer who also races motorcycles and dirt bikes. Of course, through the interview, she's wearing all kinds of cute ModCloth stuff, which they then direct you to purchase. Clever!
2. Size inclusivity.
ModCloth in November announced that more than half of all clothing now comes in sizes from XXS to 4X. This means less relegation to "plus size." If you see something you like in a tiny size, odds are good you can get it in a bigger size. Amen!
3. Well, we had to shop a little...
How about this For Good Lecture sheath dress, on sale for $62.99? She looks ready to work.
